Engagement Expectations at Dogtaggs

Professionalism and Respect

My courses are designed to create an engaging, educational, and collaborative environment for everyone involved. These workshops are built on over 40 years of experience and careful planning to ensure participants can bond with their dogs, develop new skills, and feel supported in their journey.

To maintain this atmosphere, it’s essential that all participants adhere to a standard of respect, both for the instructor and their fellow attendees.

Unfortunately, there have been instances where individuals have engaged in behaviour that undermines the experience for others, such as promoting conflicting advice or discouraging others from following the training being delivered. While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, my courses are not a space for passive bullying or behaviour that detracts from the learning process. Such actions not only disrupt the flow of the course but can also negatively impact the experience of those who have come with an open mind and willingness to learn. It’s worth noting that participants who fully engage with the training methods consistently achieve the most rewarding results for themselves and their dogs.

Dogtaggs commitment to you

As an instructor, I am deeply committed to creating a space where everyone feels encouraged and valued. I welcome thoughtful questions, constructive dialogue, and diverse perspectives, but I also reserve the right to address any behaviour that hinders the workshop’s goals or the comfort of other participants.

A request to all attendees

If you choose to attend one of my courses, I kindly ask that you come with a spirit of curiosity and collaboration. By respecting the structure of the course and the experience of others, you’ll contribute to a richer and more rewarding environment for everyone.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation,
Pat Tagg
